HALF-HEAD MONSTER!!!

because I had problems with my vertexes before my topology was not good. I had to spend some extra time on cuting polygons to get the right structure of the face...
At the end I could finally start to pull out my vertexes. Unfortunatelly, I did not align my left profile with front(I was playing with my typology and saved the wrong version :( )
however, I was tring to be as accurate as I could...so this the result of my, hard work (after self distruction, hehehe)



I still need to work on it ..but at least it looks more like a face:)

OH NO, AND WHAT NEXT?!

Because some of my vertexes were placed in the middle of polygon's edge I couldn't weld them. What's more I turned my lines into polygon so I had to cut polygons and weld new vertexes to make it right. Now I am not sure how to finish some areas...this is what I've done so far...

defining typology lines on reference images

In order to model my own head I have been following a tutorial by Eric Maslowski.

After taking a picture of my face (front and side) and adjusting it a little bit in photoshop I started to draw typology lines...











Blue lines define general structure of my face..I used wrinkles, and bones as references.
Red lines were used to draw a kind of a net which will make the modeling easier.

The next step was to place the image on a plane in 3D max and draw splines along red lines so they create polygons.
